Open letter to Mechanicsville citizens:

Thank you for taking the time to visit my web page.  I hope your interest will be peaked and that you will feel free to contact me about any issues or concerns you may have regarding our beloved Hanover County.

I initially ran for office in 2011 with a commitment to change government stumbling blocks into stepping stones.  Constituents tell me that the ease of working with County government is much improved and that an attitude of "How can I help?” is the greeting they receive and expect when interacting with County staff.

I have been twice honored by the citizens of Mechanicsville, who have placed their trust in me to represent them on our Board of Supervisors.  I firmly believe that Hanover County is probably one of the finest examples of how a county should be run and I thank you for allowing me to be part of that effort.  I humbly ask for your vote on the June 11 Republican Primary.

There is no doubt in my mind, that working together, we will continue to make our home better and better each year, especially in 2020, the year we celebrate our 300th birthday.

Sincerely,
W. Canova Peterson
